OPEN CLASS: Preferably, but not necessarily, rung with one ring of any colour or size.
All birds DO NOT NEED TO BE BRED BY THE EXHIBITOR
YOUNG CLASS: Must be rung with the appropriate year ring
– Black 2019 size 8.
All birds MUST BE OWNED AND BRED BY THE EXHIBITOR.
JUVENILE CLASS: Must be rung with the appropriate year ring
Black 2019 size 8 and be in nest feather under 4 months of age.
All birds MUST BE OWNED AND BRED BY THE EXHIBITOR.

SHOW RULES
PLEASE READ THESE BEFORE ENTERING
- All birds must be shown in a clean lovebird show cage with a floor covering of 10mm of
standard African Lovebird mixture. Any cage with the incorrect floor covering or dirty
cage will cause the cage NOT to be judged.
- The show cage drinker must be placed to the right side of the centre bar if the drinker is placed incorrectly it will be classed as a marked cage and may cause the bird not to be judged.
- No birds will be accepted after judging has started.
- The Show Manager has the right to withdraw any bird of unsound health.
- All monies to be made payable to the African Lovebird Society of Australia Inc.
- No birds to be benched or unbenched without supervision.
- All care taken but no responsibility will be accepted by the Society for exhibits during the show.
- The Judge’s decision is final.
- All A.O.V, or A.O.V / A.O.C Birds must have a cage sticker on the right hand side of the cage stating the colour and type of the bird.
- All birds must be the bona fide property of the exhibitor. Young and Juvenile bird entries must be bred and owned by the exhibitor. Ring numbers on young birds may be checked if necessary to prove ownership.
- The decision of the Show Manager is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
